Pdf Files

OnSong can view many file formats and PDF files are one of the most popular formats. These settings give you control over how PDF files appear in the song viewer.

Convert PDF File Automatically

When you switch a song with a PDF file to a text version that has no lyrics, OnSong extracts the lyrics from the PDF’s text layer and adds them to the text version. This only works with PDF files that contain text. Scanned PDF files are not converted. Default is on.

Transpose PDF Files

When this option is on, OnSong transposes the chords in PDF files that contain text when you change the key of the song. Default is on.

View Files as PDF

OnSong converts non-text imported file types to PDF files to maximize compatibility. Turning this off displays these file types as-is. Default is on.
