User Manual
Choose Artwork
This screen lets you pick album artwork for a track by hand. OnSong looks up artwork automatically, but it only uses artwork it can match with confidence. Use this screen when a track has no artwork or the wrong artwork, often because its title, artist, or album details are too thin to match. To open it, touch and hold a track in the Songs list and choose Artwork from the Context Menu.
Searching
OnSong searches for artwork using the track’s title, artist, and album. Searching… appears while it looks. If nothing turns up, the screen shows No Matches Found. Check the track’s details in the Track Editor and try again.
Matches
Each match shows a thumbnail of the artwork, the song title, and the artist and album it comes from. Tap a match to use its artwork. A spinner shows while the artwork downloads, and then the screen closes and the track shows its new artwork. If the download fails, OnSong shows Problem Occurred.
Adding the artist and album to a track in the Track Editor gives the search more to go on.
