Tuning

This tab lets you control how the tuner interprets what it hears.

Instrument

The most important step is pickling the instrument you’re tuning, or use Automatic to let OnSong choose based on the instrument of the current song.

Tuning

This will show various tuning presets for the selected instrument such as Standard, Drop D, and so on. It appears only when the instrument has more than one named tuning.

Base Frequency

This sets the reference pitch for A, from 432 Hz through 446 Hz where 440 Hz is standard concert pitch and the default selection. Use this to match an ensemble that tunes away from standard.

Offset (Semitones)

Transposes the tuner up or down by up to five semitones, so it lines up with a capo or a transposed song.
