Connecting with AirPlay
OnSong shows lyrics projection and the stage monitor on connected video devices like TVs. You can use an Apple TV or another AirPlay receiver to show lyrics or chord charts.
An Apple TV only needs to be turned on, because AirPlay can stream video directly from device to device without a Wi-Fi network. If the Apple TV is connected to a Wi-Fi network, make sure your OnSong device is on the same network.
iPad and iPhone
Swipe down from the upper right corner of the screen to open Control Center. Tap the Screen Mirroring button, which looks like two overlapping rectangles. The Screen Mirroring list shows every AirPlay video receiver nearby, including your Apple TV. Tap one to connect.
Mac
Click the Control Center icon, which looks like two switches, in the upper right corner of the menu bar. Click Screen Mirroring to see a similar list of AirPlay receivers, and click your Apple TV or receiver to connect. On a Mac, you also choose how the display is used. We recommend using it as an extended display, then showing the lyrics projection or stage monitor window on it.
Stop Mirroring
To disconnect on an iPad or iPhone, open Control Center, tap Screen Mirroring again and choose Stop Mirroring. On a Mac, open Control Center from the menu bar, click Screen Mirroring and click Stop.
If you use an Apple TV in a public place, consider requiring a passcode for AirPlay on the Apple TV, or take other measures to keep others from showing their screens on it.
