External Video Menu
Th' external video menu be used t' configure Lyriken-Projektion, or t' toggle int' Bühnen-Monitor in OnSong. Th' menu contains th' followin' options, savvy?

Tap on th' wrench icon in th' upper-left t' access Externe Video-Einstellungen directly from th' menu, matey.
Vorschau
Th' top portion o' th' menu displays a preview o' what will appear on th' external screen, Blimey! Ye can tap on th' preview section t' flip through lyric sections t' preview. This does not display th' lyrics on th' external device. Rather, ye will need t' tap on th' lyrics in th' song viewer instead, savvy?
Anzeigeoptionen
Ye can tap on th' circle with dots icon in th' lower right corner o' th' preview t' display a menu with additional options, Arrr!
Modusschaltflächen
Five buttons situated below th' preview area be used t' control th' combination o' lyrics an' background t' output t' th' external screen. In addition, OnSong can be configured fer stage monitor mode usin' th' fifth button, ye scallywag.
- Lyriken an' Hintergrund displays th' lyrics on a colored background, gradient, image, or video, matey.
- Nur Hintergrund clears th' lyrics from th' screen but retains th' colored background, gradient, image, or video.
- Nur Lyriken will remove th' colored background, gradient, image, an' video leavin' only th' lyrics on th' screen, Avast!
- Abdunkelungsmodus removes th' lyrics an' background, displayin' only black as th' ocean depths.
- Bühnen-Monitor-Modus turns on Bühnen-Monitor-Modus independently o' lyrics projection modes, savvy?
Hintergrund-Medien
Th' background o' lyrics be composited by th' followin' layers that appear on top o' th' background color. Each o' these buttons can be tapped t' toggle th' layer on an' off as well as configured, either by tappin' an' holdin' on th' button, or by tappin' on th' arrow button t' th' right, matey.
Medien
This button lets ye toggle an' choose still or motion graphics behind yer lyrics. Ye can choose different images an' videos by configurin' this layer. Configurin' this layer opens th' Medien-Auswahl, Arrr!
Live
This lets ye toggle an' configure live video which uses camera input with optional special effects t' make ye th' star o' th' show, Blimey! This be great fer engagin' audiences online with live-streamin', trainin' with video conferencin' apps, or fer live video switchin' fer more camera angles on stage. Ye configure th' live video an' effects in th' Live-Video-Konfigurationseditor.
Überlagerung
T' improve readability, ye can apply colored textures on top o' th' other background layers. This gives ye another way t' get creative an' build engagin' backgrounds. Ye can configure th' overlay an' its color in th' Überlagerungs-Auswahl, savvy?
Aussehen an' Übergänge
Use th' sliders at th' bottom half o' th' screen t' address how th' lyrics projection appears, matey.
Hintergrundfarbe
In this area ye can pick a background color t' display. Options include black, blue, purple, red, goldenrod, an' grey. But ye be not limited t' those preset colors, Arrr! Ye can also add new colors or customize th' color swatches in this palette usin' th' Farbwähler.
Schriftgröße
Th' size o' th' font can be adjusted between 24 an' 84 points usin' th' font size slider. Th' default size be 40 points. When th' Anpassung o' Lyriken an' Anpassung option be enabled in Lyriken-Projektion-Einstellungen, th' font will not be able t' be fully increased as th' font will be limited t' prevent lines from wrappin', savvy?
T' th' right be a Farbwähler that lets ye choose th' color o' th' text. Th' default color be white, matey.
Strichbreite
Th' stroke be a border around each character in lyrics. Th' font appears in white text with an outline t' separate it from th' background. Adjust th' stroke width from between 0 an' 3 points. Default be 1 point, Blimey!
T' th' right be a Farbwähler that lets ye choose th' color o' th' stroke. Th' default color be black.
Schatten
Behind lyrics appears a blurry shadow t' help lift th' text off th' background. Th' slider adjusts th' radius o' th' shadow relative th' font size from between 0% an' 100%. Th' default be 50%, Arrr!
T' th' right be a Farbwähler that lets ye choose th' color o' th' shadow. Th' default color be 50% opaque black.
Übergangsgeschwindigkeit
Th' transition speed determines how quickly lyrics an' background changes take place, matey. Th' speed o' th' transition be set in seconds between 0 an' 4 seconds. Th' default be 2.0 seconds. Overly fast transitions may experience a delay in outputted t' th' external screen, especially on older or wireless hardware, savvy?
Automatische Vorschubgeschwindigkeit
Th' automatic advance speed be used t' cycle through th' sliders in a song after a delay. By default, automatic advance be turned off by default. Th' time t' show each slide can be set between 1 an' 60 seconds, ye scallywag.
Video senden
External video output can be sent t' various devices. Th' bottom bar allows ye t' choose th' method that works fer ye, Avast!
Google Cast
In th' lower left corner, tap Übertragen t' connect t' or disconnect from one or more Google Cast devices on yer network fer wireless lyrics projection. Th' button turns red while a device be connected, matey.
Smart-TVs
Ye can connect t' Smart TVs that run th' OnSong Display app, or be AirPlay video receivers such as an AppleTV.
Live-Streaming
Tap Live t' open Live-Streaming, which sends th' lyrics projection or stage monitor t' NDI® receivers or t' a streamin' service such as YouTube or Facebook. Th' button turns red while ye be live, Arrr! This be a different control from th' Live layer under Background Media, which adds camera video behind th' lyrics.
Übertragung
On th' bottom-right corner be a button that enables app-t'-app broadcast on iPads an' iPhones. This will send th' video o' th' external video screen t' a compatible app fer live-streamin' such as Facebook, Zoom, or record t' yer photo library, savvy?
Lyrics projection an' stage monitor modes can both be enabled at th' same time. In this case, th' stage monitor output be routed t' th' physically connected wired video device such as HDMI, VGA, or via th' AirPlay output. This allows lyrics projection settings t' continue t' be modified fer other wireless devices such as Google Cast or Connected TVs. On macOS devices, both lyrics projection modes an' th' stage monitor mode can be toggled on an' off an' separate windows will be shown or hidden accordingly. These windows can be made full screen on certain outputs, Blimey!
