Who Sang What (We're Listening, Promise!)

The song reportin' settings screen changes the behavior of the Song Reportin' Screen. It also messes with how songs get tracked in the app for reportin' purposes. ZOMG, riveting stuff.

Reportin' Method

Songs can be tracked in two wildly different ways (thrilling, we know):

• By Set uses the date & time you threw on a set to figure out if a song actually got played that day. Like, if you create a set for June 15, 2015, & dump songs in there, those songs will be reported as bein' used on that date. Heads up: archive your sets instead of ditchin' 'em, or this whole usage thing falls apart & we all cry. Works best for peeps who, y\u{2019}know, remember to make a set before the show. Default.
• By Usage is the fancy pants option—it tracks songs based on how long they\u{2019}ve been chillin\u{2019} on your screen. Honestly? It\u{2019}s way better at figurin' out what actually got used, whether you made sets or not.

Usage Report Trackin'

When OnSong\u{2019}s trackin' by usage, it throws in a delay so it doesn\u{2019}t count songs you were just peekin\u{2019} at. You can tweak this delay to be all like:

• Immediately marks the song the nanosecond you look at it.
• After 1-minute marks the song after you\u{2019}ve been starin\u{2019} at it for a whole minute. Default.
• After 2-5 minutes marks the song after you\u{2019}ve been procrastinatin\u{2019} for a bit longer.

Collate Reports

This setting shuffles around the timeframes we use for munchin\u{2019} on your data in the reportin' screen. Pick your poison:

• Daily tracks songs, like, every single day.
• Weekly tracks songs used each week. Default.
• Monthly tracks songs used each month.
• Quarterly tracks songs used every quarter of the year.
• Yearly tracks songs used every year (if you\u{2019}re into that long game).

Sort Order

This setting changes which direction the timeframes show up. The default? Newest stuff first, like a normal person would expect.
