Read The Bleepin’ Manual

Hamburger Menu Vibes

The menubar is basically your dashboard for wranglin' all the bleepin' tools you need to wrangle your music straight outta the box. If you're feelin' fancy, you can Pimp It Out & rearrange or nuke the buttons to your heart's content. By default, it's packed with these absolute gems:

The Song Jukebox

Your main command center for keepin' your tunes in line. Browse your library, import shizzle, throw songs into sets, organize your books & collections—basically the kitchen sink of song management, y'know?

Share-a-Palooza Menu

Looks like an arrow tryna escape a box. Tap this bad boy & suddenly you can export, email, print, or beam your current song or set to people who actually care. Wireless magic included. ZOMG.

External Video Menu

Lookin' like a computer monitor got stuck in your toolbar. This menu button lets you hook up an external monitor or projector to OnSong like you're runnin' a freakin' concert venue. Grab an Apple Digital AV Adapter or hook up AirPlay to an AppleTV, & boom—you're projectin' lyrics for your adoring fans or chord charts on a stage monitor. You're basically a tech wizard now.

Playback Menu

Got headphones vibes goin' on. Tap this & pick an audio track to jam along with while you squint at your chord sheet. Tweak the metronome, set the tempo, dial in the time signature, & even auto-scroll for when your fingers get tired. Plus there's a built-in iTunes search so you can hunt down other versions of the song. Totes convenient.

Actions Editor

This icon rips open the Actions Editor so you can trigger all sorts of chaos from foot pedals, MIDI controllers, screen taps & keyboard shortcuts. Live performance chaos, baby.

Heads-Up Display

Right smack in the middle of the menubar, screamin' the name of your current song at you. Swipe left & right or right-click to switch it up—peek at your set, scout the next song, or eyeball a timer. Live on the edge.

Messages Menu

Wanna yell at your band without actually yellin'? This menu lets screen taps & foot pedal presses fire off messages to your homies. Better than yellin' "LOUDER!" for the thousandth time during rehearsal.

Organizer Menu

Stash the current song into a set or book, slap a star or icon on it to feel accomplished. When a song's got an icon, the star lights up in the menubar like a lil' badge of honor.

Attachments Menu

Looks like pages with a checkmark flexin'. Tap it to peek at all the files stickin' to your song. Plus you can jump into the Song Editor from here & tweak text versions of the song, metadata & all that nerdy stuff.

Additions Menu

A note with a pen, ready to make a mess. Use this to scribble annotations & doodles all over your chord chart or sheet music like a kid with a Sharpie. Also where you set up viewports & toggle widgets if you're into that sorta thing.

Style Preferences Menu

Slider vibes. Crank this open to flip how your song sheet looks & behaves. Font sizes, font styles, highlight colors, transpose, capo—basically turn the song into your own personal canvas. Flip sections on & off: header, lyrics, chords, diagrams, whether capo gets applied. You're a designer now, congrats.

Utilities Menu

Gear icon = serious business. Access the nerdy advanced tools, editors & settings that make the real magic happen.

The menubar's got a skinny teal bar showin' your progress through the set list like a progress bar on the world's most important download. Wanna tweak it? Settings » Menu Settings » Menubar » Show Setlist Progress
